The temperature in Durban will be 26°C tomorrow, ideal weather for fashionistas fond of wearing revealing outfits during one of Africa’s greatest horse racing events, the Vodacom Durban July.
The Durban Weather Bureau says the city will have clear skies and no rain is expected tomorrow, when thousands of fashion lovers and horse racing enthusiasts converge on Greyville Race Course.
More than 50 000 people are expected to attend the event.
It is traditionally held on the first Saturday in July but it had to be delayed to accommodate the World Cup which finished on July 11.
Durban metro police spokesperson, Superintendent Joyce Khuzwayo says: “Some roads will be closed. DLI Road for example will not be accessible from 12pm today. Avondale will also be closed.”
