Block back in court next year

The court case of Northern Cape Finance MEC and provincial ANC leader John Block and his five co-accused was postponed to 16 April 2013 in the Northern Cape High Court today.
Block, Patrick Lenyibi, Frank Mashilo, Nandipha Madiba, Gaston Savoi and Fernando Praderi appeared on five charges, including alleged tender fraud of an estimated R1.2 million.
A large police contingent was deployed at court in Kimberley today, but only a handful of people braved the wet weather to show their support for Block.
All the accused have been released on bail. Block and Savoi was granted bail of R100 000 each.
