Man v Monster

The show follows adventurer and cinematographer Richard Terry as he investigates legends and faces up to the truths of some of the most feared and cryptic species.
In each episode he investigates an animal myth, travels to the source of the story to get eye-witness accounts before setting off on a quest to encounter the creature fuelling the tales – it’s like a version of Mythbusters.
Tonight Terry comes up close with the Bengal tiger in an episode titled Man-Eating Menace.
Strictly Come Dancing

It’s an overdose of dancing shoes, sequins and feathers as celebrities team up with pros to compete for the dancing crown. This is the ninth season of the show in the UK and it begins with a red carpet launch featuring Dolly Parton.
Contestants include legendary singer Lulu; Robbie Savage, the former Wales footballer; actress Anita Dobson; drummer Harry Judd of McFly fame; and Holly Valance, actress, singer and model. Psst! Our local version is also in the works to return.
We Bought A Zoo

With an all-star cast that includes Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson and Thomas Haden Church, this comedy drama ticks all the boxes for a great night in. Set in California, it’s about Benjamin, a man who loses his wife and sets off to start a new life. He moves to the countryside and buys a large house that has a zoo to renovate.
His daughter is delighted, but his son is not happy about it. See what it takes to get a zoo to its former glory – with amusing missteps.
Ice Loves Coco

He’s ditched his gangsta rap image to be a homely, cuddly husband who plays with dogs and is surrounded by all things pink and feminine. See what marriage to model Coco Austin has done to the formerly hardcore Ice-T.
They’ve been married for more than 10 years. It’s unlikely and unconventional. This month Coco hosts a Licious fashion show during the New York Fashion Week, the couple butt heads while building their dream home and things go awry at a friend’s wedding.

The show, hosted by David Burtka, covers opulent A-list estates, sprawling mansions and luxury pads. From a Beverly Hills home worth $58 million, complete with saltwater pools and a king-sized walk-in pantry, to a tour of Madonna’s former abode, this is truly extreme wealth and luxury.

Set in the year 2022, four convicts have the chance to gain their freedom by volunteering for a space mission to salvage a lost ship. As one of the incentives for them to sign up, they are allowed to enjoy sexual liaisons with a woman of their choice in a virtual-reality world.
The mysterious and seductive interloper who infiltrates their vessel turns out to be an alien. Directed by Ricardo Gale, starring Maxwell Caulfield and Billy Dee Williams.

This long-running court drama has not lost any of the allure, suspense and thrills that has seen it survive the long haul.
The first episode of season 18 sees a television reporter caught up in the suicide case of a cop’s brother, and the daughter of a famous “Dr Death” may also be involved.
Wednesday January 9
Empire Girls: Julissa And Adrienne

It is the season finale for Adrienne Bailon and Julissa Bermudez, the two fabulous Latina best friends and starlets looking to conquer the world of show business. The girls decide to give something back to the Latino arts community by shooting a public service announcement.
Adrienne is invited to perform at the Puerto Rican Day Parade, but struggles with the new choreography. Meanwhile, Julissa reignites sparks with a former crush.
