South African NGO, Gift of the Givers, left on Thursday (January 31 2013) to aid thousands of people displaced from their homes after Tropical Storm Dando hit southern Mozambique last week. The heavy weather conditions have been the first since 1984 with gusts of up to 120km per hour and rainfall of more than 200mm.
