With a musical career spanning over 40 years, Ntoni shared stages with fellow musicians such as Abigail Kubeka (right).

Former President Thabo Mbeki said, “We have felt a great emptiness because through their music these stars have come to occupy an important place in our souls.”

Ntoni died of a heart attack at Helen Joseph Hospital. He was 65.

Yvonne Chaka Chaka was among the mourners at the funeral service which proceeded to West Park Cemetery.
