The Fifa Team of the Year for 2012 was unveiled at a gala in Zurich, Switzerland, on Monday (January 7 2012). All 11 players were from the Spanish La Liga, with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona dominating, while English Premier League players failed to make the list.
