3 dead after vehicles crash into wall, tree

One person was killed and 13 others were critically injured when their taxi overturned near Nasrec Road, Johannesburg.

Two men were also killed today when their vehicle veered off the N2 and crashed into a wall in Durban.

ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks said paramedics arrived to find both men had died on impact.

“Both driver and passenger were found inside of the vehicle and entrapped.”

The cause of the accident was not known.

Johannesburg emergency management services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said the victim of the Nasrec Road accident was killed when the vehicle veered off the road, overturned and hit a tree.

The other passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
