Businessman missing for three weeks
While most families have spent the festive season together, Johannesburg police have launched a desperate search for a businessman who’s been missing for almost three weeks.
Nazeer Mohammed (34) was last seen getting into a vehicle at his used car dealership in Jules Street in Belgravia.
Mohammed’s family received what they suspect was a ransom call from a payphone on December 9, but have not heard anything since.
A “devastated” Zaheera Mohammed, Nazeer’s sister, said the family was offering a reward for any information about his whereabouts.
Captain Pinky Tsinyane, Gauteng police spokesperson, confirmed that police were investigating a case of kidnapping and said no suspects had been apprehended.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Lieutenant Colonel Punt on 082 319 9844 or SMS 32211.
