What happened in the early hours of Valentines’ Day when Oscar Pistorius’ girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, was gunned down? City Press reveals the shocking details.

These include:

» A bloodied cricket bat is the central piece of evidence in the unfolding murder investigation against Pistorius.

» Pistorius allegedly told his sister, Aimee, that something terrible had happened and that he had mistaken Steenkamp for a burglar.

» But three sources close to the investigation ruled out the possibility that Pistorius could have mistaken Steenkamp for an intruder. There was no sign of forced entry.

» It is alleged that the first shot was fired in the bedroom after which Steenkamp locked herself in the bathroom.

» Pistorius’ father received a call from his son just after 3:20am on Thursday, asking him to come to his house.

Very encouraging to see Hekkie Budlers team dedicating Hekkies Straw weight world title victory , in defence of his IBO world title last night , to Reeva Steenkamp . .
On the subject of the crime , why would Oscar be assembling such a high power defence team , if he did not have a case to answer City Press should be advising us how many legless / amputees are currently in detention or could it be that Oscar will be the first , if / when convicted .

Since when does the opinion of a scallywag like Mark Batchelor count? City Press you can do better than this. If Ms. Steenkamp was consorting with unsavoury characters such as this, who knows…..RIP Reeva.

  Read the article before you comment. Ms Steenkamp was not consorting with Mark Batchelor; he intimated that he was upset about comments Pistorius made to his friend, Quinton van den Bergh, about the latter’s involvement with Pistorius’ previous girlfriend, Samantha Taylor and that is why Pistorius confronted Batchelor.
  It had nothing to do with Ms Steenkamp, or Mark Batchelor for that matter. He was not even dating Ms Steenkamp at the time.

    I agree with you Tom, What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty, leave the law to do its job, if they needed your input they would have asked for it. Oscar is having a hard enough time too, i am really sorry for the families on both sides as this one is hard to swallow, but leave them be! How about you clean out the skeletons in your OWN closet, I guarantee there are plenty.
