Fire at Parliament offices
Employees of Parliament were evacuated from their offices in Cape Town CBD today after a fire apparently broke out.
The fire happened on one of the floors of the offices at 90 Plein Street.
One eyewitness said it was on either the 8th or 9th floor.
According to an employee who wished to remain anonymous “no one knows what’s going on” but everyone from the 90 Plein Street office had been evacuated.
The employee said he could not see any smoke but there were pictures of fire engines on the scene.
