Police captain Jackson Manatha said today the verdict against the 24-year-old was delivered by the Butterworth Regional Court.

The man raped his 41-year-old mother at knifepoint in December last year.

“The two were alone on the night in question as the younger sister of the accused was away. He raped his mother twice and she opened a case of rape against him the following day,” Manatha said.
