Presidential hotline making progress – report
The presidential hotline was making progress with nine out of ten complaints received getting resolved.
The Saturday Star reported today that government statistics also show that at least three out of five complaints that involve the police get resolved.
“The machinery of the hotline is working,” hotline director Mughivela Rambado told the newspaper.
At least 154 549 cases were logged by the end of last month.
The hotline was set up in 2009 by President Jacob Zuma to field public inquiries and complaints.
