Reeva was not pregnant – family

Model and law graduate Reeva Steenkamp was not pregnant when she was shot dead by her Paralympian boyfriend Oscar Pistorius, a family spokesperson has said.

“No, that’s not true,” said Steenkamp’s uncle Michael this morning.

“Wherever that comes from, whoever said that – it’s to benefit those people, not our family.”

A US magazine reported that Steenkamp was planning to tell Pistorius the news of her pregnancy when she arrived at his home on the night of her death, according to the UK’s Daily Star.

Pistorius (26), is accused of killing Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day. He claimed in court that he believed she was an intruder.
