An Ekurhuleni EMS call centre attendant confirmed that emergency services were dispatched to Phineas Xulu Secondary School earlier today.

According to an unconfirmed report, a pupil was shot by another at the school. It is unclear what the motive for the shooting was or what the condition of the victim is.
