Two arrested for selling dagga to school children
Two men have been arrested for allegedly selling dagga to school children in Klerksdorp, North West.
Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said the Hawks followed up on a tip-off and arrested a 23-year-old man yesterday.
“He then took them to a house in Jouberton where another suspect was arrested and dagga with a street value of R5 000 was found inside a cooler box.”
The two would appear in the Klerksdorp Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
“There has been a growing concern from the community that people sell dagga to school children. Parents, teachers, and pupils must report any suspicious people seen around school premises,” Ngubane said.
