Two killed in plane crash
Two people died when their light aircraft crashed into the Ysterberg Mountain Range between Mokopane and Polokwane, Limpopo police said today.
“The police helicopter went there and we are currently trying to remove the bodies from the wreckage that is on the mountain top,” said Colonel Ronel Otto.
Otto said the crash happened at about 10pm last night after the plane departed from Wonderboom Airport in Pretoria.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
