“Following a briefing yesterday (Wednesday) to Cabinet by the Inter-Ministerial Committee on the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project, Cabinet has approved the gazetting of terms and conditions … that will apply to users of the toll road network in Gauteng,” it said in a statement.

A 30-day period for public comment was given.

“Government will, at the end of 30 days, incorporate this round of public comment and publish its final position after a further 14 days.”

A media briefing for further clarity was scheduled for Friday.
