Zuma wins second term

President Jacob Zuma has been re-elected president of the ANC in Mangaung.
He won 2 982 votes against Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe’s 991.
Cyril Ramaphosa won the race for deputy presidency of the party with 3018 votes.
Baleka Mbete was elected chairperson, over North West premier Thandi Modise. She also received more than 3 000 votes.
The number of delegates who voted in the ruling party’s election is 3 977.
The incumbent, Gwede Mantashe, won the position of secretary-general against Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula. Mantashe received the most votes in the top 6 with 3058.
Jessie Duarte was elected deputy secretary-general unopposed.
KwaZulu-Natal premier Zweli Mkhize beat Arts Minister Paul Mashatile in the race for the position of treasurer-general.
