Bafana to change tactics
After failing to win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations opening game against Cape Verde on Saturday, Bafana Bafana will go into tomorrow’s tie against Angola with the aim of bagging all three points.
Midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala admits Bafana will need to change their approach at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. He said they have to be more aggressive.
South Africa played to a goalless draw at the National Stadium, and the fixture between Angola and Morocco also ended 0-0, meaning that after their first round of games, all the teams in Group A are on a level footing.
Tshabalala said each and every player needs to take responsibility in the team and start scoring goals.
“We need to change our approach as a team. Everyone in the team should be able to score and defend. We have been playing well, but failing to find the back of the net, which is not helping us at all.
“Against Angola we should change that and score. If we win tomorrow we have the tournament to fight for. And we know we will win,” the Kaizer Chiefs wing said.
